This one is for sampollock, who has been petitioning for MB to do something all summer long.

Let’s beat those Figs!

With 3 games left in preseason, and the last game usually is the full roster, I picture all the young kids in the line-up before they decide if one or more makes the team or if they will be sent to Laval.

Laval's camp starts tomorrow. And their preseason games are next weekend. However, whoever is cut from Habs and sent to Laval will most likely be given time off.

I think the two games against the Leafs will show a little more intensity and work ethic. We need to see where we stand against them more so than Ottawa. What will be interesting is seeing how both squads split the match ups.

I feel like there are only a few decisions left to be made. And those decisions should only involve a few players.

Time to also start getting ready for the season - knowing who will start with who, any changes in systems, etc...

I hope to see

Belzile, Evans, Suzuki, Peca, Hudon, Thompson, Cousins, Weal, Kotkaniemi, Drouin, Armia, Lehkonen
Fleury, Brook, Alzner, Mete, Folin, Reilly
Lindgren

Basically everyone who need to prove something / show something more before a big round of cuts

I'm thinking Varone, Barber, Weise, Ouellet and Sklenicka are pretty much a given to be cut tomorrow already

Sklenicka has already been cut from camp.

Plus side for me is with the Habs playing the Leafs, I can actually watch the game without worrying about it being blacked out.

Will there be any surprises in the line-ups? I suppose Drouin will play, as a matter of speaking. Will the Leafs ice an AHL squad as an excuse when they lose?
they will ice an NHL team BUT will blame the 1-2 AHL players for their lost

edit: they ice a full sub AHL team, great

If our team needed any extra incentives to succeed having Carey Price as 5th best goalie, with no other player in the Top Twenty at their position, should add fuel to their desire to be the best. Stanley Cup Championship's usually garner much more attention for players, missing the playoff's last season despite huge improvement at 5 on 5 play. Looks like the PP & PK units will be front & center in the drive for 25.:arr::arr::arr:

Although the Leafs is sending all the crap they could find
The Habs answered with the return of Alzner….

Guess we will also have a first line of Tatar - Domi - Drouin tonight while KK will continue to play with Hudon and Armia.

Interesting to see what line up is iced tonight for the Habs. I would match that AHL line up Toronto is bringing

The Leafs sending the cream of the crap tonight…...Good Lord this is an awful line-up

J.Bracco, Nic Petan, T. Liljegren, Jordan Schmaltz, along with two good goalies aren't crap, providing the Leaf's with quality depth at most positions IMHO!!!...:teach:

They didn't dressed one player of their top 6 and not one D projected to be top 4 and not even their starting goaltender, so it's pretty sad for a line-up.
