really hard to compare as they are on two very different team and have different roles

I lean towards Aho given his age but I'm not sure he would have the same impact in a supporting role as Point did

Can we at least wait for Aho to be legally allowed to drink in the US before we start asking how he ranks in this league?

Point hasn’t played wing since 2016.

I take him here, Aho is a damn good player too tho.

I love Aho, but I take Point 10/10 times. Aho is good but Point is special imo

Point was the best player for TBL imo watching all the games, him.

This is a great poll. Two of my absolute favourite players, both with close to elite hockey iq. Aho is a stud but I take Point here by the slightest of margins - his hockey sense and shift to shift consistency are both world class.

Does Aho play center? That would be the difference IMO, Point is solid in all 3 zones at the center position.

He played well there at the end of last season and is generally* projected to be a center in the long run for the Canes.

* Bill Peters finally moved him to the middle way later than expected, so nothing is certain regarding future lineup decisions with a guy who has never been a head coach before.

Aho is a beast and there is no right or wrong answer here but i would take Point. He produced great numbers in a "supporting role" and i think he is fantastic at creating his own chances/goals/points which is why i would pick him. Damn fun to watch him play.

Contrary to THH response, I don't see him as a center longer term. Not his game, he's best suited on the wing, imo.

Point sorta reminds me of Bergeron and Aho of Kucherov. Not saying their as good as their comparables respectively but two very different players.

Aho is more of a Zetterberg style guy to me.
