I know Davidson is a LHD.....but it still makes our immediate recall of Fitz a bit more head-scratching.

Davidson is one of their best D (the NHL contract and all that) and losing him for so much of the season has hurt. Tischke and Schuldt have been hurt lately, Prow (RD) is playing through something that I wouldn't be surprised winds up shutting him down at some point. They need better play on their LD IMO - Teves looks tired and then they have newby Knoepke who is getting up to speed but looks like he's new.

Boka and Eliot give them a bit of what Fitz did on RD with the ruggedness and even a bit of forward play from Boka just as a funny throwback to Fitz first year. They could use Laaksonen taking a step forward to actually start playing well in his own zone but I don't know if that's in his game - he's still rail thin, but his reads and positioning and liberal giveaways make me wonder if he's going to round into something more.
