Welcome to the National Fantasy Hockey League!
This is a brand new keeper hockey pool thats ready for the 2013 season. The site looks bare but its ready to take off and hopefully get the draft started before puck drop on the 19th. I will also be looking for staff members to help me run the league. If interested please visit the site and sign up!

A little about the league:
NFHL
- 30 Team League (possibly 20)
- 15 man roster sizes: 9 forwards (1 enforcer), 4 defensemen, 2 goaltenders
Scoring System
Forwards/Defensemen
1 point: Goal, Assist
1 additional point: PPG, PPA, SHG, SHA, OTG, OTA, GWG
1 point: +, -1 point: -
Goaltenders
2 points: Win, regulation or overtime
5 additional points: Shutout
1 point: Assist, or Goal
Enforcer (forward)
1 point: PIM
Transactions
Roster Trades must include equal number of assets, including Roster Players and/or Draft Picks in order to maintain a roster size of 15 Players. All existing player points are included in any trade. All trades are subject to approval by the Trade Moderator.
Waivers are unlimited. Waiver releases and claims must be for a player of the same position. Waivers are first come, first serve.
A league-wide trade deadline including waivers shortly follows the NHL trade deadline.
Playoffs
The top 8 teams from each conference will make the playoffs. It is then a head to head NHL playoff format (1v8, 2v7 etc)
Following the Regular Season, there is a weighted Draft Lottery for the teams ranked in the Bottom 5 of the standings.
Message Board Regulations
- As activity is monitored, all GMs must log-in and/or participate at the minimum of a weekly basis. Long-term inactivity will result in replacement.
