Most common linemates Armia and Lekhonen/Byron
Most common linemates Brown and Norris

One is asked to play defense while the other can run around (Well more like crawl, because he's slow as f***) and do whatever he wants.

Kotkaniemi has been on the ice for 13 against and 20 goals for.
Tkachuk has been on the ice for 28 goals against and was on the ice for 18 for.

The only stat favoring Brady is playing time.

It was said before the draft that Tkatchuk was the most NHL ready player in the draft but that he had a lower ceiling than the rest of the players taken around him. I feel he's lived up to that, he's met his projection perfectly.

Kotkaneimi was always a longer term project. He's closed the gap between the two well and has shown the foundations of becoming a better future player. His shot is better, his vision is better, and I'd say that he got to the point where his skating is faster even though his mechanics are still brutal. I wasn't a fan of his after D+1 but he's put it together to meet his draft expectations.

Brady isn't too far ahead of Kotkaneimi now, Kotkaneimi will close the gap within 1.5 years.

This feels like when people used to say Subban was worst than Del zotto. I love this place, a very monument of hockey knowledge

Or like when Habs fans were BAFFLED people would rather have the #1 overall pick this year over Suzuki.

Habs fans live in a fantasy world majority of the time. Must be nice.

Seeing Tkachuk has 24 points (and watching the Sens) something tells me the stat of him only being in the ice for 18 goals for seems off.

Comparing 2 players from a playoff team and bottom 5 team on goals for-against seems to be a lesson in futility as well, but have at it.

You realize Brown and Norris are literally our two go-to shutdown guys, right?

As a Leafa fan, give me Tkachuk now and in the future. Guy is a dynamic player. Not sure he'll ever be more than 65-70 points, but he brings so much to the table. It's really not even close between the two of them at all.

I hate him now. Would love him on my team.

Hahahaha. Ballsy

Meh. All three are pretty good and playing on teams that are all set to improve. It's wide open for me.

But I like Brady because he's that Marchand-type player that everybody hates but wishes they had.
