Now do his stats this series compared to the 3 other goalies that played.

Matthews/Tavares/Nylander/Marner: 6 goals in 23 games (combined)
Nichushkin: 7 goals in 5 games

The Leafs were literally dead last in goals for per game in the playoffs, and middle of the pack for goal against. Cheery pick game all you want but the reality is the Leafs didn't score enough to win this series... especially when you consider how the salary is divided.

Why are you comparing a high scoring series to a low scoring one? The Jets set an NHL record for most consecutive 5 goals game to start a series.

I knew the Leaf’s would never win anything when they took Giordano on.

Bad hockey karma having that POS around.
Its Giordano's fault others didn't show up?

Man, I hope when something is my fault I have a Giordano around.

Why are you comparing a high scoring series to a low scoring one?
The whole reason its low scoring is because the laughs didn't show up.

Samsonov made one bad play, too bad it was the last play of the series.

He gets paid $3.55m, paid like a 1B, plays like a 1B.

The rest of the team didn't play like they wanted to be there, only Knies seemed to know it was a playoff game 7

I agree, but a lot of the “good” D might be on Boston.
With Pasta obviously injured and no real #1 or #2 C they are not exactly an offensive powerhouse.
Sure, but I mentioned it mostly for:
A. Leafs defence is at least changing, bringing in some players decent enough to give a chance to prove themselves.
B. to say that the Defence wasn't the problem, doesn't even matter that what you say about Bruins lack of punch is absolutely true. Leafs Cap imbalance in favour of 4 players was supposed to pay dividends.

Leafs elimination record without Austin Matthews = 2 - 0

Leafs elimination record with Austin Matthews = 0 - 1

Am I doing it right? This is literally the level of your logic and the depth of posts

Auston Matthews can't play goalie.

No. The leafs failed to outscore the bruins in all their games with samsonov despite having 40M for goal producing forwards.

And they managed to outscore the Bruins in all their games with Woll. Strange how that works.
