3 stars of the night

1. The King
2. Staal- Best game I've seen him play since this time last year
3. Vesey- disappeared a bit (along with the rest of the team) in the 3rd, but more than solid effort in the first 2 periods rewarded with two goals

Our xGF% was actually still really good in this game so I'm not too upset by our play.

I'm upset by the philosophy when the game was 3-1, but AV gonna AV.

Whatever. The team is playing well despite him.

Also, I get that McDonagh hasn't been perfect at times, but where the f*** was this criticism in 15-16 when he was actually awful?

Super game by Hank, we were pretty scramble in the D zone. Steal had a really good game, he shouldn't be playing 21+ mins a night but he was damn solid.
Outside of the 1st period we really couldn't get much going offensively. Good to see Nash and Vesey score, Buch has some serious talent, the 2nd line sucks

Vintage Lundqvist.
Vintage Nash with a laser.
Vintage hold onto dear life and pray the buzzer sounds before the tying goal goes in.
Vintage.

A good game from Hank with some actual good numbers to back it up.

They played a good game, team effort, sure you can always complain about turtling but
that's just group psychology in most hockey games, it's always going to be hard to maintain offense when having the lead.

Hank was great.

Buch is amazing. Confidence and a clean bill of health and surely a little more strength and this kid is a star ready to burst.

Milbury is the worst color analyst in sports history, my lord. Can't get a sentence out, fumbles his word, makes incoherent points and flat out has bad analysis. Eddie O at least can break down a play and see the obvious. Lundqvist makes a save and Milbury over the replay is going "dur dur dur he uh shanked it and it missed dur dur" as the replay is showing the puck hit Hank's blocker. Just an example. He sucks ass.
