1. One of the vets is being moved for picks (unlikely)
2. They don't trust Pouliot OR Despres in the playoffs. (More likely because **** everything)

Not all that similar, really...RS moved Lovejoy for a 6th or something, right? This deal is designed to give us a better bottom pairing right now.

When Bortz was playing physical I really liked him. He just had trouble moving the puck up the ice.

From the sounds of it Cole brings stability which might be more needed.

Not always a bad thing. We could trade Letang for Big Buff right now, but I'm glad we're not.

Borts is a problematic NHLer, and the fact that he takes dumb penalties doesn't help matters.
