Mantha has such a gangly stride when it comes to backchecking. I feel like that last shift was a perfect example of why people think Mantha doesn't compete enough. He fights on the backcheck to put the TB player offsides (and actually knocks the puck off his stick in the process) and the camera pans to him huffing and puffing once the whistle blows. Yet if you watch him from behind, it almost looks like he's sandbaggin it.
