I just bolded the ones I have a big issue with.

Gudbranson: I love the way this guy plays, but even to me #3 is a stretch.

Kabanov: Ottawa has been burned by countless Russians in the past, can't see them going Russian this early in the draft (especially if El Nino is on the board).

Campbell: Why are the Rags wasting a top pick on a goaltender when that seems to be the only part of their team working right now?

Clermont: I like him, and have him ranked ahead of most, but that's significantly too high.

The Bruins have issues on defense throughout the system, but I still don't think they'll pass on Seguin here. If they do pass on him, it'll be for someone like Gormley

Fowler has more upside than Gormley, imo.

It wouldn't be a stretch to see the Bruins take him instead, atleast in my mind.

I think as long as Taylor Hall is off the board, I could see them going with Cam Fowler but I could be wrong. I've seen very limited play from Tyler Seguin and I know he is the consensus #2 guy in the draft but I also really like Erik Gudbranson. He's a player I've heard quite a bit about and a player with good size like that is always valuable and Boston has quite a pipeline of centers, no?

Maxime Clermont is very, very raw still. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the first though. He seems to have all the talent to be able to put it together one day and become somebody's franchise goalie. But we'll see.

Thanks guys.

Phoenix likely would not pass on Skinner at 21, and certainly not at 24. Hishon and Bjugstad would also likely be the choices before Howden and Kuznetsov.

If Seguin is available at #2, the Oilers will draft him.

good list, but

Seguin/Hall go #1 and #2 pretty much no matter what happens.

If El Nino falls to Ottawa, we are drafting him.

If Hall/Fowler go 1/2, Bruins would either take Seguin and convert him to wing or trade the pick for one a few lower and get a ransom.

Thank you for posting your opinion.
I don't think montreal drafts a D over kabanov or nino. Plenty of defense in the pipeline not many top 6 guys.

Rangers have no need for a Goaltender with Henrik and now Chad Johnson

12) Ottawa - Kirill Kabanov - LW

Ottawa will never draft a Russian in the first round. Not with Murray runnning the show anyways.

And I highly doubt they would pass on El Nino...
