Just heard from an Anaheim fan that Silf scored 80 goals in a single training camp game, and the NHL also learned that they messed up and Anaheim actually won the lottery with Ottawa's pick. Because Ekblad was already drafted, they'll just let Anaheim have McDavid who otherwise would have gone to Ottawa had the pick not been traded.

Oh yeah I also talked to Ryan at an autograph signing today, and he told me his favourite Springsteen song is Streets Of Philadelphia.

Yeah, I am sure a few people are in that boat. The interesting thing is that when it broke on Twitter, which was basically following the practice as it happened, it was presented as a precautionary move by the team. Even Mr. Stir-Up-Stuff-To-Get-Hits put it across as nothing much to worry about:
