It won't settle anything about the top 3.

What will be interesting is the tier after them.

Nemec
Jiricek
Nazar
Gauthier
Lekkerimaki
Kasper
Savoie

And then the end of the 1st round.

Why? Can you find me a 1OA that was not #1 on Bob List? Thanks for the search :thumbu:

I wonder if Bob chooses Slaf if that gives HuGo enough cover to consider him
I'm all for drafting Wright at 1st but one need to aknowledge that it's really close between the two. No matter who is 1st on Bob's list, it will probably be too close to even conclude the no.1 on Bob's list will be the Habs choice.

Why are people talking about Slaf? It feels like KK all over again except for 1st OV.
Kid was barely a top 10 last xmas. He has 5 goals in 31 games on his team. Ya ya 7 goals at the Olympics, versus non-NHLers. A handful of games...
Ain't no freaking way he gets selected first. People are on crack.

No it ain't. I'd bet anything they pick Wright.
Media is just trying to make it more interesting because there's no obvious superstar.

The idea that he has all the potential and raw skill, well it's never translated in his league. huge red flag.

I get that he was young, and the league is different, more defensive....but 5 goals...come on man.
Meanwhile, Shane Wright comes back after missing a year due to pandemic, looks like he didn't miss a beat. Outscores his rookie year by almost 30pts, finishing with 94pts in 63gp.
But yes, sure....there's a ''real debate''....

The media is mostly all about taking Wright. It's NHL scouts polls that are heavily divided.
