Always thought of him as a low end player and coach. I'd prefer to look for new (to the NHL) talent than recycle someone else's garbage. Lalonde has enough experience as an assistant coach that he doesn't need a former NHL coach looking over his shoulder.

Called it! Excelent record in Windsor, so knows how to work young players and NHL experience as a coach and player like Lalonde hoped for. And not some dinosaur coach, who only rides with experience from a one job to another.
