Devil's advocate: Who is our coach in Springfield now? I had to look. It's Daniel Tkaczuk. Maybe they want Dean up here to get guidance in practice from Bannister as opposed to Tkaczuk. Bannister was the guy we hired to shepherd our prospects.

It’s not hard to see why the Sharks are where they are in the standings. They have some speed and some try hard but there is just so little talent on their roster.

Agreed, scorched earth makes you too reliant on the draft lottery as well as draft quality during your tank, ie Slaf vs Bedard being 1OA a year apart(or Crosby, EJ, Kane)
