These next two games are 4 points the Blues really ought to get, and will be disappointing if they don't. But with the injuries, an emotional let-down is a pretty risky game. Columbus in particular is a trap game. The Buffalo game is one they have to win, though.

I don't think the CBJ game is really a trap game. Our games against them are always battles and it's the 2nd day of a B2B

This. CBJ game could be tough, they are struggling but always play well against us, and I'm pretty sure they are starting to get some guys back from injury as well.

I sure thought Stewie was going to be that 30g power forward we needed.

I'm really surprised that Bergie is a game time decision. I thought it was quite a bit more serious than it is apparently. Great news.

Hahaha great job elk!

Is anyone else a little worried about Berglund getting back in so soon? Especially since it is the same shoulder he hurt last year? Just don't want him to reinjure it right before the playoffs again.

Unfortunately....Lindstrom is in regardless.

Bergy may not be the ideal center between Rattie and Jaskin. He's a huge upgrade on Lindström. A game against Buffalo with a competent center could have been good for Rattie

Bergy can at least keep possession long enough for Rattie to potentially exploit the soft areas.

I'm speculating that he's injured the same shoulder as last year, that it can dislocate and reduce more easily, that it gets sore as hell when that happens, and that he could have off-season surgery to reduce the chance of future dislocations but he would miss significant time.

Or maybe he just bruised it really good.
