Blues started the season 4-0-0, first 10 games: 7-2-1
next 3 games, 3-0-0, first 20 games: 14-5-1. | 29 points in 20 games.

Next 10 games: 6-3-1 =
30 games: 20-8-2. | 42 points in 30 games

Next 11 games: 4-7-0
finishes the year with 24-15-2 | 50 points in 41 games

Blues starts the year with 2-0-0, next 5: 2-2-1
next 4 games, 3-1-0, first 11 games of the year: 7-3-1
52 games 31-18-3 65 points, 3rd in the division,

They go 3-9-1 next 13 games, basically give up,

Then next 9 games Blues go, 8-1-0 and are

I think they will make it.

But yeah, it’s been crazy. Injuries certainly haven’t helped them though. Fabbri once again out all year. Sanford gets injured in camp. Steen and Berglund miss the beginning of the season. Schwartz then gets hurt for a long period of time. Then Edmundson goes down for a month. Now Bouwmeester and Gunnarsson are out for the year.

Another thing though, Mike Yeo did this same stuff in Minnesota. They were the streakiest team every year. Either on fire or ice cold it felt like. So he’s not doing anything to shed that reputation.

And then you also have Jake Allen. He’s either lights out or can’t stop a shot from the red line.

Combine all this stuff and you have your typical Blues problems.

Looks a lot like the Flyers elevator-like season IMO.

At the beginning of the year, as in until the Schwartz and (Was it Petriangelo) injuries that team looked like the best in the west.
