I'm predicting a 3-2 OT loss for the Flames. They tighten up their defense but their offense, due to a shortage of top end talent, still blows. You can't get blood out of a stone.

Joel Hofer will start Thursday vs. Calgary.Hofer will get his second start of the season on Thursday and look to rebound after allowing six goals on 42 shots in his only game thus far, a 6-2 loss to the Arizona Coyotes. Hofer expected to challenge Jordan Binnington for starts this season but that endeavor has temporarily paused as Binnington has demanded the net with a blistering start, registering a 1.69 GAA and .945 SV% in four games (2-1-1). The Blues are +162 road underdogs but should be able to give the Calgary Flames a run for their money as they have been outscored 25-17 to start the season (2-4-1).

Was just checking the flames stats.

Kadri has 1 point in 7 games and is tied with Greer for the least amount of points of any flames forward other than Hunt, who has only played 1 game. And overall, only 2 defenseman are below him.

Huberdeau has 4 points in 7 games.. but that's good enough for 3rd best on the team!

The offense is in a pitiful state.
