Value wise the deal is probably fine - you'll have a hard time finding a Canuck fan that wants to set the rebuild back 3-4 years since we've been a tire fire for basically 6 years already. Besides if we give Jim Benning $16.5 million in cap space we'll be stuck with long term $8.25million dollar deals for Wayne Simmonds and Matt Belesky - also known as "foundational players"

This guys a joke Detroit already owns the #32 pick. He doesn't even know what picks are what. And Mittelstadt is garbage needs to give us Cozens instead.

Realistically there's zero chance of either Nielsen or Abdelkader waiving their NTCs Vancouver Not happening. Detroit says it's pure trash. No way i'd move Larkin and Lafreniere alone for Eichel.

Vancouver would be rebuilding around guys that are on their ELC, so taking on cap dumps isn't crippling since they'll be off the books by the time extensions kick in for their young core
