Sigh. Seriously?

If you wanted to know why teams sell all their assets before they rebuild, this is a great example of it. Your existing players still want to win, and they ruin your draft position.

I don't mind (potential) wins when they come against CHI, TOR or ANA.

how about for just one game you actually enjoy them beating a team like the hawks. team is still a lock to finish bottom 5

Tatar > Nyquist. More complete even though he turns the puck over sometimes.

nyquist literally made that entire play by forcing a turnover

anyway we've watched em for like 4 years now, they're both 2nd line 40-50pt wingers. About the same,

Add in Nyquist was better 2 way player.

Always nice watching the Wings win. Always nice watching the Hawks lose. Put them together and you've got some magic.

dekeyser on the powerplay lol. I get it we're trying to play it safe but he's no only by far our worst offensive defenseman, he's near the bottom in terms of defensive capability too

Do Nyquist and Tatar think its 2014 or something?

They are clicking tonight.

As tough as a season it has been, Tatar has looked good the past 40 games or so. Nyquist has also looked great since his suspension. Hopefully they continue to play well this year, and bring it into next season (assuming they're both still on the roster). Obviously, we need them to be key contributors, and need 25-30 goals each and
~55-60 points each if we hope to be respectable.

Nyquist you ain't Datsyuk that's for sure. What were you doing there? Should have been an easy goal.

Where they finish in that bottom 5 is important, though. If we finish 5th and don't win the lottery, we could end up picking 8th or 9th instead of much earlier.

Cmon man nothing wrong with beating Chicago in their last visit to the old barn. I want to tank as much as anyone but can't be upset with this.

Yeah I know but Tatar has the finish we need. I think Tatar could get 30+ goals.
