Cap Geek got the term. It is a 2 year deal $550k cap hit. 2nd yr is a one way deal.

I like this kind of structure of contract for the Hawks. It gives them flexibility next year, while saying to the player that they believe he'll be in the NHL no later than the following year. He also got a considerable raise to his AHL salary as well - going from 67.5K to 100K.

Brookbank will get moved at some point, likely after preseason as Stanton will look like the better option overall.

get some more cap space, get Stanton some valuable NHL experience, I am liking the way this team will look this year.
