Lot of speculation as to where Las Vegas will end up in the mess of TV networks in the region. Fox Sports San Diego would seem to be the best fit from what I can tell. Others speculate Charter may open up another network for them, or slap them on the Dodgers network.

I'm still thinking Root Sports is the way to go.

Root would get in to Nevada with their Root Utah network, and Root Utah would get Las Vegas hockey in addition to the Jazz. If the AHL team is in Salt Lake or West Valley City there will be local interest as well.

Plus, Root would get rights to additional content in the Pacific Northwest where they apparently show the Jazz in markets like Seattle since there aren't really any local winter sports to cover. Further, Las Vegas' league assigned media area outside includes Utah, Montana, and Idaho in addition to the parts of California (Central Valley-ish), northwest Arizona, and all of Nevada. Places where Root Sports is somewhat dominant and places adjacent to places where Root is dominant.

If I'm betting money, I'm putting it all on Root Sports as the media partner.
