I think they meant Gary Roach, not Dave. Lindros was a crazy good player, and the Sault got some decent value in that trade when you look at what those players did for the hounds. 5 good junior players for 1 is pretty sweet, and both teams won the deal. Oshawa got their OHL title immediately followed by the Sault getting 2 in a row thanks to this trade.

I think Oshawa got the better end by far, and I don't think it is even close. London got half a year out of those three players and no championship. Oshawa will be collecting on that deal for a couple more years.

Wow, crazy...we WHL fans just don't see trades like that. Some teams wouldn't trade with an arch-enemy (eg. Lethbridge would rather chew off their arms than trade a player to Calgary) and others just don't trade their high picks.

The boomerang trade in the Q wasn't one-sided at all. When all was said and done, each team got the players they needed at the time that they needed them. It was a hell of a mess though!

It's gotta always be a trade from the Q. It is amazing some of the shady ******** some of their GM's try to pull stacking up one team to even remotley have a chance at knocking of a team from the WHL or OHL. You never see those type of ********* deals take place in the Dub.

It wasn't as huge name wise as the Tavares trade, but Adam Dennis to London for Ryan MacDonald and 3 draft picks put the final nail in the London Knights Memorial Cup. Without Dennis, I don't think London wins the whole thing.

To the best of my knowledge. Googled it and its all I can come up with. Pretty sure it is was only Blaine Chrest for the rest.

No you can't, A player cannot be traded back to a team he was traded from.

Biggest one in Bulls history in terms of anticipation and excitement was definitely Spezza to Belleville for Kyle Wellwood. Two of the best players in the OHL being traded for eachother made some big headlines for sure.

London still wins. Gerald Coleman would have closed the door and that London offense was still too good. If Sidney Crosby and the Oceanic had say 8 goals on London, London would have had 9!
