there are many good surprises:
Ryder (not a spectacular player, but who expected him to put points up like that?), Gallagher (did not expect him to be Calder candidate, even though I thought he should have made the team last year),
Diaz (such a great start, really a shame he had to miss much of the season, but I expect him to great in the playoffs,
Budaj (he has been excellent)
Halpern (did not expect much when we got him off waivers, but he's been just as good as he was in his last stint with the habs)
Subban (we all knew he was star caliber, but Norris candidate?)
bad:
Moen (i really thought he would be grittier)
Cole (what a season last year...)
