What was the biggest blowout in Stanley Cup finals ?

I remember Avs beating Panthers 8:1 in Game 2 in 1996 finals. Somebody reminded me how Pens scorched North Stars 8:0 in 1991 but I am not really sure about this score.

Here are games decided by 6+ goals (listed in order by season) in Stanley Cup Finals:

Vancouver 8 Toronto 1 1918
Toronto 6 Vancouver 0 1922
Toronto 9 Detroit 3 1942
Montreal 6 Toronto 0 1947
Detroit 7 Montreal 1 1955
Montreal 6 Chicago 0 1965
Pittsburgh 8 Minnesota 0 1991
Colorado 8 Florida 1 1996

Looks like the most goals scored in a Stanley Cup Finals game by one team is 9 by Detroit in 1936 (9-4 over Toronto) in addition to the 1942 result listed above.

I think the Pens/Stars game has to be the worst. The series was 3 -2, in Minnesota for game 6, and the Pens absolutely kicked the crap out of them. I love watching that game, because Mike Lange (Pens' play by play guy), is coming to the realization that they are gonna win and starts just excitedly yelling, "SCORES!", when the Pens continue to pile on the goals.

Biggest finals debacle series wise had to be 1942.

The Leafs lost the first 3 games and then came back to win the Cup.

April 4 Detroit Red Wings 3 Toronto Maple Leafs 2
April 7 Detroit Red Wings 4 Toronto Maple Leafs 2
April 9 Toronto Maple Leafs 2 Detroit Red Wings 5
April 12 Toronto Maple Leafs 4 Detroit Red Wings 3
April 14 Detroit Red Wings 3 Toronto Maple Leafs 9
April 16 Toronto Maple Leafs 3 Detroit Red Wings 0
April 18 Detroit Red Wings 1 Toronto Maple Leafs 3

How a bout that... the Cup was awarded in mid-April.

Although not a a Stanley Cup Finals game, the most memorable blowout I can think of was the 7-0 whooping Detroit put on Colorado in Game 7 of the 2002 Conference Finals. Might be the most lopsided Game 7 score ever. Anyone know if that is true?

I was at the 8-0 thrashing the Penguins put on my North Stars that year.Mario and company made it look easy but at least I got to see the Cup carried around the rink even though it was the wrong team.May never see that again in my lifetime.
