Honestly, who gives a ****. What kinda BIG announcement could come out of the Stadium Series ? The big news was they were playing in it. Nothing else big could come of it, except possibly they have Al Arbour coach the game. Then jerseys aren't BIG news. Nothing to see here folks, just a whole load of who gives a ****.

Ummmm.....YES. This is the NY Islanders we are talking about. Probably cheaper to announce it then as opposed to when people are awake.

Longer shot would be an older timers game, but that would involve the Rangers and Devils too so that's not likely.

Obviously a jersey announcement...with the outside chance of them announcing an alumni game (Turgeon please!).

Not a big deal really. Especially if we're sorely disappointed in the jersey (a given) or we find out the only alumni the Isles could get is Joe Day, Steve Junker, Markko Kiprusoff, Mark Lawrence, Jeff Hamilton, Tom Draper, and Chris Luongo.

don't get me wrong these guys are millionaires but its crzy how much punishment hockey players take and they get paid so little as compared to other sports...

Sydney Crosby is a 5th starter or utility guy in baseball and a very good sixth man in basket ball...

To take a completely wild guess on what the announcement is, I will say something crazy like they are going to have a contest taking fan submissions for the jersey.
