Shades of the Pac-12 trying to make inroads in China. Can’t even think of any recruiting wins from that.

I am greatly humored by the b12 thinking Mexico will get interested in American college soccer. They’re lucky Liga MX takes a holiday break… this helps schedule that proposed bowl game.

It’s a pretty aggressive move by a conference who needs to come up with a big move to raise their profile. Will be interested to see how this works, but they should start with the football.

Unless the bowl game was at a Cancun resort or something who is going to want to play/go in/to a bowl game in Mexico?

Didn't Canada have a bowl game once? Didn't it last one year because no one wanted to play in it?

Getting a Big 12 team instead of Big East and MAC teams will be a big difference.

Sounds like what happens when you put a corporate leadership team under the gun to 'innovate or else'. International expansion always comes to mind as one of the first options. But it's rarely as easy or beneficial in practice as it is in powerpoint presentations.
