So a friend and I recently decided that we're going to put our writing aptitude to good use and start a web site/blog with content we feel is geared toward a niche market.
I was fairly proficient in web design back 10 years ago or so, but haven't dabbled with it at all since. As such, I don't even know what web hosting services are, ugh, good anymore.
We're looking to run it like a blog, but to have that blog built into a fully customizable and functional web site. We're not too worried about storage space/bandwidth at the moment and aren't averse to paying for hosting (I remember old free hosts like freespaces and freewebs being severely limited). We're just looking for something fully customizable that's easy to use.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we should approach this?
