- Bondra hit 50+ goals twice and 40+ two other times.
- Peter Stastny hit 40+ goals five times.
- Palffy hit 40+ goals three times.
- Gaborik hit 40+ goals three times.
- Hossa hit 40+ goals three times.

- I am not including Stan Mikita as he played for Canada in international competition.

- I thought the #3 poll would be closer but Hossa took it handedly. I believe #4 should be fairly close.

Palffy is mad underrated because his career wasn’t very long and played on bad teams.

I agree.

On the other hand, Bondra was a pretty elite goal scorer too. He won the rocket in 97-98 with 52 goals. But here's the kicker...he did that in 67 games. He was on a 64 goal pace!

Between 1995-1998 Bondra (141) was 2nd in goals in the league behind only john Leclair (143), however, Leclair had played 234 games and Bondra only 211 games.

Also, from 1994/95 season until 1998/99 season (that's 5 seasons) he was second In the league in goals/game with .67 g/gp behind only Mario Lemeiux.

From 94-97 he had a pretty weak offensive team (much like palffy with the islanders and Lak), altho in 97-99 he had Adam oates.

Imo, both palffy and bondra are extremely underrated in the NHL.

Went with Palffy but I really think this would have been Gaborik if not for injuries.

he did not... Kolzig did

Oates and Juneau were their best offensive players

Bondra had 12P in 17GP.... 4 players had more pts than him
That's great Mr. Stats, watch some games sometime.

There's a good argument for Kolzig but Bondra was an all around great player that playoffs, including on the defensive side, and he led the team in goals despite missing four games (admittedly a 4-way tie).

And he caused Hasek's epic meltdown.

He PKed and QBed the PP too.

yeah Ive been watching hockey for 30 years, thanks. Kolzig was by far the reason they got so far.

Bondra did fine, but by no means did he "lead" the Caps to the finals with his 12 points and defensive game. The fact that he even MISSED 4 games doesnt help either. They had to win without him!

And him pushing Hasek in the back doesnt exactly make him a great player as much as it was a cheap shot, if anything.
