NYR is obviously the best on the top end, but Detroit's top 10 is insane.

Can't go wrong with any of these pools. All four have an incredible top 3.

Obviously biased opinion, but top to bottom, I think Ottawa has the better and deeper prospect pool out there.

NYR is one of those teams whose prospect pool is gonna fall of a cliff real quick.

That's not a knock, either. Mainly because two, if not three of their top 5 will graduate this year. And their top 5 is heavily influencing their ranking.

the teams that have won the draft lotteries are ahead of the team that falls in the draft order year after year

i'll go with LA,Lafreniere is the clear best player here but I think the advantage LA has in the rest of the pool more than makes up for it

in any case those are the clear top 2

i'm honestly not sure if i'd even have Ottawa or Detroit at 3/4,possibly but i'd need to see more pools

I think Ottawa's group is incredibly overrated in general(never been all that high on Sanderson and a group of honestly kinda mediocre forward talent that has become heavily overrated due to hitting the ground running in the AHL) and as a Wings fan while there's certainly some exciting names in the teams pool if they pan out I don't think most of those guys are particularly likely to come anywhere near their ceilings

I’d go NYR with Ott pretty close behind. Why no poll?
I like the Rangers high end better but Ottawa has more depth. Votes Rangers.

Really think quite a few of L.A's prospects are overrated. Specifically Turcotte and Kaliyev. Meanwhile Vilardi is underrated.

That’s pretty much my opinion too. Just though the top 4-5 for NYR were a bit better than 4-5 for Ottawa. After that it’s for sure Ottawa for me, but by then who knows what will come from them

Ottawa is deeper than L.A.
Define deeper ? Depth is also a by-product of top end, and theres no top end in Ottawa after Stutzle.

Id take the top 4 of Ottawa before Sanderson.

A good exercise would be to try and rank every prospects in both pools, youd have a lot more LA kings in the top 20, fading as it goes, which is the most important part.
