If he could have kept his life on track and stayed in Calgary Theo could have been the best.
Kipper, MacInnis and Niewy were amazing but not quite the best.
Nilsson was probably the most talented but not enough time with the team and his give a crap meter was broken.

The answer is Iggy.

Yah... probably could swap him out for Lanny McDonald. I don't think he's the best Flame of all time but up there for most iconic. Pretty sure he's got the record for goals in a season too

If the Flames had kept St Louis, him and Iginla on the same team probably gets them a cup in 04 and maybe another from 06-08 period.

I paused very briefly to consider Kipper, as at least arguably the best at his position for a time...but nah, it's Iggy. Really can't justify anyone else.
