With the way the goalies are currently trending how to you see the landscape being a couple of years from now? Which of the old guards will falter (Fleury, Lundqvist, Rinne, Price, Quick, Luongo, Bishop etc) and which of the kids will shine through (Hart, Demko, Vasilevski, Samsonov, Gibson, Husso, Nedeljkovic, Dell etc)?

My list:

1. Gibson
2. Vasilevski
3. Hellebuyck
4. Price
5. Bobrovsky
6. Talbot
7. Hart
8. Murray
9. Jones
10. Saros
11. Grubauer
12. Raanta
13. Holtby
14. Quick
15. Schneider

Damn, Andersen doesn't even make the top 15 even though he's younger and already better than some of those guys!

2 years seems so long for predicting goalies. I don't think Gibson is top 5, or Grub 11, and I don't think Helle and Vas are both top 3. I think Vas, but I am weary of Helle.

All homerness aside, I truly think Hellebuyck will be the best goaltender in the league.

Gibson has easily been top-5 this year and has improved (significantly) every season. There's no reason to not have him right with Helle/Vasi.

I hope you're right but Gibson is made of glass. I'm no kinesiologist but I fear he'll never live up to his actual potential due to wear and tear. He was our MVP last year though, which is saying something because Getzlaf was having a hell of a season.

Vasilevskiy will likely be the best.

Gibson, Saros, Price, Holtby, Bobrovskiy, Hellebuyck could all be up there. Maybe Shestyorkin, Sorokin, Samsonov, although it might be too early for them to be among the best in the NHL.
