Best defensive players (forwards and defense) in the KHL?

It's pretty easy to look at stats and all-star rosters to get a feel for the top players in the league at least from an offensive standpoint, but who are some of the better unsung defensive players (forwards & defense) in the league who maybe don't have the offensive stats that make you go wow? Or maybe some guys who are just leaders, warriors and "glue guys" that are far more vital to their clubs than offensive stats would suggest?

Its gotta be Alexei Tereshchenko, he has one of the best 2 way games in the KHL u put him on Ak Bars 3rd/2nd Line and he will play an amazing 2 way game for ur team and thats one of the main reasons Russia calls him to play for them, that and his leadership.

Defenceman - Yevgeni Biryukov, can log big minutes, steady as a rock. Russia has a lot of offensive Dmen who they are considering but I would like to see Biryukov get a shot at the roster to help increase the defensive game.
