It doesn't really matter that they're in the same group if they both advance, which it looks like they will. They all get re-seeded in the final 32. Right now Nicholson and DDL would be the top 2 seeds as they're the only ones still at 100% votes.

I couldn't believe Gary Oldman was the 32nd seed by the Oscar wins/nominations I was going by. The others were doomed in that group.

I couldn’t get over how much I enjoyed his performance in The Revenant.

He steals the movie IMO.

Ya, I really liked him in Locke. Essentially a 1 man show that keeps you gripped the entire time. (Which I wasn't expecting)

One knock on him is he's so awkward in rom-coms (this means war)

Anyway, when all is said and done, i'll think he will go down as one of the best dramatic actors in their peaks from 2010-2030

Yeah Kathy Bates over Binoche is a real vibe killer. Just behind Gary Oldman over Bruce Campbell in terms of what-the-f***ness. ;-)

If we have any ties for 1st in a group vs. 2nd (ie. Brando and PSH tied for 1st in their group) or the same number of votes between a 1st or 2nd between groups (ie. K. Hepburn and Frances McDormand both in 2nd and tied at 14 votes), I'm just going to go to my original seeding to break that tie as it only matters about seeding. If there are any 2nd vs. 3rd ties in a group I'm doing a 24-hour tiebreak.
