Our 3rd match from Group B is the 2013 Penguins (1-0-0) vs. the 2001 Red Wings (1-0-0).

The 2013 Penguins were deep in name value, but overall a very flawed roster/team.

#1 in the East with a 36-12 record in the regular season and the #1 offense by far, but they never had the feel of a champion. Even in the Isles series in the first round they struggled heavily. The Boston series exposed how poorly coached the team was.
