Just read Helene St James' article about Todd bertuzzi's future, he obviously wants to come back and talks about how he loved his time here.

My thoughts are, I was like most hockey fans when it came to thinking of Todd Bertuzzi before he came here, which were jaded thoughts because of his mistake with Steve Moore. However, in his time here I have grown to really like Big Bert. He seems like a good guy, a good teammate and a good leader. Unfortunately, his skill level isn't on par with what we would expect from him, which would be that net front presence for Datsyuk to play with. He just doesn't have the legs anymore. The back issues really took their toll on his career and I think he mentally was never right after the Moore incident.
I wish him all the best, hope he finds another NHL gig somewhere and if not, i do hope the Wings keep him involved as a scout or something. Anyways, I know it wasn't as successful as we hoped, but I guess this thread is one for us to tip our hats to Big Bert and thank him for his time here.
"Playing and living in Detroit, it's been a great place to raise a family, a great place for kids to play sports, and a great place to play in front of fans, who've been awesome to me," Bertuzzi said en route to Toronto, where his 13-year-old son is playing in a tournament.
"I'd put Detroit as my favorite place to have played. California and Florida had their weather benefits, but as far as lifestyle, we couldn't have lived in a better area. I love playing here, with the ownership and management that we have, the way they run the organization, you're treated first class."
