That 2nd Batherson goal was sick...

Think we need to get in to the grind of the season before we say too much but early returns are encouraging.

When Brown is back does it become the Killer B's line?

As of now Brown is 2nd line center. That's 2 games in a row that line has been dominating. No way you separate them now unless they go through a slump.

Nice to see the kids ripping it up,also my buddies in Belleville will be happy as the team looks far better than the trash from last season

That's too bad Paul didn't get into one of the games, not sure why they dressed Jaros he hardly played at all in that Dallas game, I didn't notice him until the 3rd period. I though Ben Harpur had another good game, very strong & physical back there & along with Boro was instrumental in keeping the score down.

Yeah would have liked to see Paul play against his old team. Might have been some extra motivation there. We won’t know now.
Wonder if there is an ongoing attitude issue

Paul and Jaros were sent down because Ottawa has 4 days off. They can play at least one game (home opener) in Belleville before being called back up for Saturday, if needed.

The Belleville injury list

Foremost among the sidelined is centre Logan Brown, who is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with a lower body injury after tripping on a stick during practice.
Joining Brown on the disabled list are — take a deep breath — Jim O’Brien (broken leg, six months); Filip Chlapik (twisted ankle, day to day); Marcus Hogberg (unspecified, but returning “no time soon,” according to Mann); Ben Sexton (unspecified, two to three weeks); and Andrew Sturtz (lower body, three to four weeks). Aaron Luchuk, who had been with Brampton in the ECHL, is also out with a concussion.

That is not good news.

Wow 4-6 weeks the inital report was closer to 2... That's too bad for Brown .. that must be a sprain of some sort. It will set him back a little.
