yes. I remember hearing that you couldn't trade back for anyone picked in expansion for a year.

However a quick Google search seems to reveal that's not the case: NHL clarifies teams can trade for players lost in the expansion draft

That was in 2017. Not sure same interpretation in 2021.

Yep, but this seems like one example that shouldn't immediately apply to when discussing his faltering. Got about 15 other much more egregious examples
