He's do-do in his own end. In time he will learn how to be above average in that regard.
If he had serious linemates he would be over a ppg. If we was on an average team with an average PP he would be over a ppg.

Probably a little exaggeration. There are a lot of "shit" players in their own end, and I wouldn't say he's one of them. Kane was shit in his own end. Bedard is probably just average.
I would say he's bad. But well within reason for an 18 year-old undersized center.

He is pretty rough in his own end, but most rookies are. Defending in the NHL is hard, everything happens so damn fast.
We’re spoiled by Toews, who basically a mutant that hopped into the NHL with an almost completely formed 200 foot game. Thats not normal.

he needs to be rained in he takes to long of shifts like he did in junior's. but the blackhawks have no coaching so that's not going to happen. this team was better when derek king was the coach luke richardson is a joke and it really show's.
