On a side note...Laval received Riley McKay from Rockford for future considerations...so it wasn’t a one for one deal, McKay will eventually make the Habs as he’s been an enforcer buddy of Kirby Dach since his WHL days...

While in Montreals' system, he went from the AHL to the ECHL, never a good career trajectory.
