Stafford is incredibly overrated. He's average.

McVay didn't even trust him to make a pass late when the game got tense, until the last drive, where he hit a wide open guy twice because of terrible coverage.

I realize that Stafford has thrown for 5000 yds a couple times but he had better weapons most of his career. He's always thrown a bunch of INTs like Cutler did at the worst possible times.

I think that may have just been them trying to milk the clock via the run. We saw what happened with the Falcons in the Superbowl, guessing McVay figured if they just pounded the run they'd just run out of time.

In all honesty, it probably would've been fine too without all the colossal f*** ups.

He's played on the flipping Lions most of his career. He's actually underrated. This is a bad take even by your standards. And Stafford was really good today. It was most of the rest of his team that was trying to blow the game.
