More AHL teams will drive through Worcester county on their way to games than 20 AHL teams will play in this season.

13 "double header" Shark-Barracuda games.

Including two "day"/evening games between Christmas and New Years, as well as a "day"/evening game on MLK day.

When Toronto comes to town, they get the 4pm start, forcing the double header Barracuda game to start at 8:30pm.

Average time between games is 68.4 hours. Minimum time: 18 hours.

Estimated travel: 31 legs (not including home/back on same game), 26,250 miles. Average leg: 772 (including home/back for same game). (When they travel to SoCal, it's **usually** part of an extended 2-3 game trip.)

That's about half of what the NHL Sharks will be traveling.

I never figured the actual number of miles traveled for the WorSharks but I'd be shocked if it was even close to 10k.

Not a single player ever complained about the distance between Worcester and San Jose. Now the other direction? That's a different story...
