golfing yesterday with a kid I coached a decade ago and he was telling me about BabyMetal. Watched some youtube after the golf round....Don't really know how I feel about this band. It's basically 3 decent metal musicians and 3 Teens (1 singer and 2 dancers and the singer , although she is Japanese and might be kicking ass by Japanese standards, isn't really isn't that strong imo)...meh, something disturbing about their popularity. Google "Rob Halford and Babymetal" is you have the courage....a metal version of a Simon Cowel band?

yeah, probably should have posted this in the Lounge...sorry.

For anyone here who enjoys metal, you should give it a look. Strange.

In order to get noticed as a metal band these days you have to have a gimick.

If it's those weird Japanese girls yeah. I'm on my phone low on battery so I can't check. Someone rickrolled me with it a few weeks ago (but I'm not a metal fan). I didn't close it but watched it like a trainwreck.

I think the song was chocolate or had something to do with chocolate.

I like em. They are an easy in for my daughter to get into metal. They are her favorite band but I've been gradually able to play other metal, hardcore, and punk without complaint.

In what way are South Park style caricatures indicative of the occult?
