Which LWer will produce more points in the future? Thoughts?
Obviously, this thread has not generated much interest, but while Benoit Pouliot has greater size and probably higher ceiling, he seems to have a bit of an attitude or work ethic issues? Will he reach his full potential or be a flop? Thoughts?
Hudler should flourish this year. Thoughts?
I haven't seen enough of Hudler to make a comparison, but unfortunately I've seen enough of Pouliot to say that I don't think his chances of putting up a lot of points in the NHL are very good. He's lazy and unmotivated, and no matter how many coaches and scouts have tried to smack some sense into him over the last few years, he just doesn't get it. If I had to bet right now, I'd say he's going to have a below average NHL career, and probaby a short one at that. I'd put my money on Hudler, without a moment's hesitation.
It's funny how many of these Hudler threads pop up after one preseason game against Tampa....
You mean two?
Hudler will get icetime with Zetterberg and Datsyuk so I like his chances of producing.
Soft and lazy vs. Soft and lazier?
I'll go with Pouliot.
