The AWHL has gone from 7 teams to 8 for the 2013-14 season. Last year they had 7 teams - they have added 2 Teams The Glacier Nationals and the Butte CopperKings and the Missoula Maulers have dropped out to join the WSHL.
In addition to Butte and Glacier, the teams are The Helena Bighorns, Great Falls Americans, Bozeman Ice Dogs, Billings Bulls, Cody Wyo. Quake, and the Gillette Wild.
