Okay also good. Great AHL guy that played some good NHL minutes for us the last 2 years. Hopefully Nuke is next now.

I don't think this means Manson is a goner, but you have to think they would have waited to see if he signed first.

Not really, I presume this is a two-way deal. If MacDonald beats out Manson for a spot in training camp, then we have a good problem on our hands.

I figured it was more for 7th d insurance rather than replacing Manson, but yeah as @Avs9296 said re-signing JJ is probably a better indication

I like this deal very much but I have to admit I'm a little surprised by it. Bednar didn't seem to like him that much.

IMO this should be our #7D right here. Only a 760k cap hit and a guy that continues to put up great numbers at the NHL level when he gets opportunities.


I really think our 3 extra skaters should be set now with Sedlak, MacDermid, and MacDonald as the 3 skaters.
Why do you hate organizational depth?
