With the shortened season I think we could see a couple Avs guys start off real hot and put up some impressive numbers, particularly Duchene and Paranteau, especially if they click right off the get go.

And 2 surprises:

Sgarbossa - 3G 5A 8 Pts(In 12 Games)
Hunwick - 2G 12A 14 Pts(In 35 Games, after sitting the first quarter of the season, he impresses in his first couple games and effectively earns his roster spot and solidifies himself as our 5/6 puck moving Dman)

Team finishes with around a 2.50 GPG, and 2.35 GAA(And we Make playoffs).

In a 48 game season?? Duchene is basically playing to a PPG(79 Pts in an 82 game season) and Stastny is playing to a 65 point pace.

Those would be very good paces for the two of them, especially Duchene after last year.

That's a last place finish right there. A total of 75 Goals For plus say another 15 goals combined from the 4th line+other D would put us at 90GF for the season. Only 2 teams last season under 200GF for the entire year.

I admittingly went overboard with my predictions for goals and points, it's just for fun anyways and I like to be optomistic, but I don't think they'll be THAT bad unless everyone stops playing until Sacco is fired. (that might happen though!)

Ed - Wait never mind, not counting the other d and 4th liners. But those goal predictions are embarrassing for a 48 game season. Would you expect Downie, McGinn or Parenteau to not top 10 goals in an 82 game season?
