So the only way this Avs team wins some games each year is by picking up new players every year like PAP, Mitchell etc who come in and they are the only ones that provide points. Then they lose this players to injuries next year or they go sign elsewhere.

Last year it was Downie , Mcginn. Years before that Mueller, Flash.

Who's gonna be the temporary solution next year?

Tough to get motivated for a game when 4 of our predicted top 6 players (Landeskog, Downie, Jones and O'Reilly) coming into the year aren't playing and its only game 8.

Can't see this one ending well unless, Varly stands on his head, even then it still might not be enough.

Basically we have to hope either Stastny or Duchene have big games.
