I agree it was soft, but the refs are always even in the playoffs going to call things that result in either stopping scoring chances or clearly resulting in a change of possession.

Duchene doesn't get that puck if he doesn't cross-check Girard.

It's consistently called though. Downward crosscheck that takes him off balance, especially near the boards.
