Doesn’t this feel like one of those games where the Avs want to come out of a slump and they actually play good hockey in this game until the last few minutes where the game is tied and the Caps score a late goal and win the game?

Does kind of feel like that. Think that's because we've seen this script play out before.
Avs get in a funk, but it's never as easy as flipping the switch to get out. When they finally start playing better, the hockey gods punish them for not getting out of the funk earlier, by making all the bounces go against them.
Rebounds go against them, pucks bounce over sticks, bad penalty calls, Avs goalie lets in softies, opposing goaltender stands on his head, etc.
My bingo card says the refs call back the tying goal for goalie interference that wasn't goalie interference, and the Caps score right afterwards to win 4-2.
The only vocal lines in the song are Japanese, but it's barely 3 seconds. Plus MegaMan Zero's Cannonball is too good to ignore.

I can't remember a time where there have been so many unproven guys in starter's roles. There's a lot of young talent trying to assert itself (Blackwood, Hart, Shesterkin, Samsonov, Sorokin) and a lot of the old staples are on the decline or retired (Anderson, Lundqvist, Quick, Crawford, Fleury...
