Redmond will for sure end up on a team that's way too into analytics.

Boedker will be overpaid (five years $27M is my guess).

I do think Avs have to slightly overpay Matthias to get him but just give him $2.5M/year and dump Mitchell. I think Matthias is good enough to play on a third line and Avs need PK forwards. It's a big weakness.

The rest I don't care about. Street and Agozzino would be good in the AHL, but they might be looking to move on to teams where they think they might sniff the NHL.

I would so dearly love to retain Boedker, but as was said I think he's going to get overpaid somewhere else by about a million a year, and there's just no point in that for the Avs. Matthias would be a nice keep, he was the kind of bottom 6 talent we hadn't had in awhile. Everyone else can flake right off.

Avs wanted the cake and eat it too. They should've negotiated a contract with Boedker the minute the season was over, instead of waiting to see how the Radulov situation unfolds. I still believe we could've got Boedker for around 4.5-5 mil if that happened.

We still could've been in the Radulov sweepstakes, it would've just meant we had to pay a bit to trade Iginla (he'd probably only waive to Calgary or close to there). I would've been fine with trading Iginla + '17 2nd if it came down to it.

If we do end up getting Radulov it won't matter, but it's going to suck not getting either.
